DEATH OF CHAMPION FOR PEACE MOHAMED DRIDI

It is with deep sadness that Peace and Sport learned of the death of one of our Champions for Peace, Mohamed Dridi.

“The far-reaching Peace and Sport family has been struck by great sadness, particularly our group of Champions for Peace, of which he was a member. All our thoughts are with his family and friends” said Joel Bouzou, President and Founder of Peace and Sport.

Former World Champion of kickboxing, Momo Dridimpion became a Champion for Peace in 2013 with the intention of developing actions for peace through sport in his country of origin, Tunisia.

During the Peace and Sport International Forum, which took place less than two weeks ago, he attended an event alongside thirty other Champions. He had notablly expressed his desire to participate in social programs to help youth.

We address our sincere condolences to his loved ones.
