To celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP), Peace and Sport, partner to Hurricane Group, will share its message of peace-through-sport, on April 6 during the FISE Hiroshima.
Peace and Sport’s Champion for Peace, Charmaine Crooks, 5-times Olympian, flag-bearer for her delegation, and genuine icon in Canadian sport will attend the event to represent the International Organization for Peace through Sport. Charmaine will speak during the opening ceremony and announce the #WhiteCard campaign with the public next to the Peace Memorial of Hiroshima.
