Mr Joel Bouzou, President and Founder of Peace and Sport signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Jef Tordo, “Champion For Peace” who is the founder of the NGO “PACHAMAMA” located in Madagascar!
PACHAMAMA runs projects using RUGBY as a tool to work with youth in unprivileged communities. The partnership involves cooperation introducing new sports to the children, use the PEACE AND SPORT Manual and also includes the support of Jeff Tordo for the Peace and Sport Great Lakes project and on organizing the 8th Friendship Games in Burundi on 11-13 August this year!
Jef Tordo, previous French Rugby National team Captain, Founder of PACHAMAMA and Champion for Peace mentioned: “This partnership means a lot to me and for the numerous volunteers that collaborated with PACHAMAMA since its creation 10 years ago. It’s with a feeling of pride that we will collaborate with Peace and Sport in the coming years, share our experience and knowledge and improve and expand our actions towards the unprivileged communities of Madagascar.”
Mr. Joel Bouzou referred to this occasion: “Jef is a pioneer Champion for Peace. We are honored to become partner with a Champion who is so active in the world of Peace through Sport. PACHAMAMA is now using Rugby as a tool but soon it will expand providing more sport opportunities to the children. Peace and Sport and PACHAMAMA aim also to create a Peace and Sport educational centre for coaches and teachers from all around Madagascar.
