Presentation of the #WhiteCard 2025 campaign

Mar 26, 2025 | News, Whitecard (eng)

Today, the #WhiteCard 2025 campaign was officially launched in Monaco in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Supported by Peace and Sport for over 10 years, this global initiative encourages the international community each year to raise a #WhiteCard, a gesture of peace that highlights the essential role of sport as a tool for education and inclusion.

An international appeal for Peace through Sport:

In a world where more than 460 million children live in conflict zones, the #WhiteCard is a symbol of hope and a call to action. This initiative is a reminder that sport is a fundamental tool for education, inclusion and the prevention and reconstruction of communities affected by violence.

Joël Bouzou, Peace and Sport President and Founder, stated :

“From Monaco, this launch sends a strong message to the international community: we must act to make sport a driving force for peace and education. Thanks to the support of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and our Champions for Peace, we are demonstrating the positive impact of peace through sport programmes for future generations.”

A prestigious cast:

To amplify this message and raise public awareness, some of the biggest names in world sport are getting involved in the video clip to be released 31 march 2025:

  • Didier Drogba (Football – Ivory Coast), Vice-President of Peace and Sport and football legend
