By adapting sports, we can reach out to young people living in vulnerable areas, where violence is rife. I firmly believe that sport is a tool capable of contributing tangibly to the socialization and re-socialization of the most underprivileged people.
Biography / Awards
Peace and Sport Champion for Peace and Fencing Olympic Champion, she was appointed French Minister of Sports on 17 May 2017 and resigned on 4 September 2018. As a member of the Champion for Peace club since 2009, Laura has been a great sponsor for the development of the peace-through-sport movement.
