In my opinion, being a Champion for Peace means to be a top athlete who is aware of the power of its sport, the impact of his words and his image; and decide to put the whole thing at the service of society.

Biography / Awards

In spite of her agenesis of the left arm, Marie started to ski when she was only 5.

In Sochi 2014, then in PyeongChang 2018, she accomplished so many feats that she became the french athlete to win the most medals in the history of the Winter Paralympics (8) at only 24 years old.

In April 2018, Marie Bochet became member of the Athletes Commission for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics in Paris. The role of these athletes is primordially to invest in action to promote sport and the values of sport amongst the French population: sport-health, integration through sport, education through sport etc.
