In 2006, Yohan Blake made his mark as a rising sprint star, winning 3 medals at the junior World Championships. He lived up to the hopes placed in him by becoming the youngest athlete of all time to run the 100m in under 10 seconds at only 18 years old.
On the same 4x100m Relay team, and main competitor to sprint legend Usain Bolt, he became world champion of 100m in 2011.
Following this victory, he launched his own foundation with the one he ran 3 existing orphanages (Pringle home, Garland and Mount Olivet). All in all, 100 disadvantaged children (boys and girls) aged 4 to 18 benefit from Yohan Blake’s altruism on a daily basis.
In 2018, he willingly brandished his #WhiteCard on the podium of the Commonwealth Games, then went on to join the Champions for Peace club to further widen the scope of his actions. In 2019, he took part in the campaign through an inspiring video. Olympic champion, World Champion.
